UMBC historic upset... RAVENS?

UMBC Retrievers pull the first ever #16 seed over a #1 seed upset in March Madness history...

I saw the headline and read UMBC as numbers, as 3423...
U reduces to 3, M reduces to 4, B is 2, and C is 3...
so 3423... or 34 / 23... and thought of the Baltimore Ravens...
"Ravens" = 34 and next season will be their 23rd season...

Don't know why that was my first thought but it was...

Then I thought #16... SIXTEEN... as is the 16th prime is 53
and next Super Bowl is SB 53... and the Ravens have the 16th draft pick this year...

And so I'm all the more hot on the Ravens for SB53 just based on that alone...
building on this decode: http://waybeyondcoincidence.blogspot.com/2018/03/the-shape-of-water-5335-thing-and-ravens.html

I then thought, hmm imagine if that MB in UMBC is for Maryland/Baltimore...

Then I look 'em up.

University of Maryland, Baltimore County...

HA.

Then I punch 'em in the calculator...

"UMBC Retrievers" = 79
"Ravens" = 79

"Retrievers" = 139 (34th prime)
"Ravens" = 34
"Maryland" = 34
"Joe Flacco" = 34 (he will be 34 years old at the time of the SB)
etc... (see linked post)

They pulled the upset 173/174 days before the NFL season starts
"UMBC" = 173 (reverse bacon)
"Baltimore Ravens" = 174

The Ravens' season will most likely start three days later, on the first Sunday,
and from this upset to then is 5 months and 23 days (523)...
523 is the 99th prime... it will be the 99th NFL season...

This upset was 1 week and 6 days (16) after the Oscars... #16 seed, etc...
again see my "The Shape of Water..." decode, linked above.

Put all this and more with all of that stuff
(scroll to the comments on that linked decode for my updated full decode)...
and I'm hot on the Ravens...

Oh, how fitting for "UMBC" = 39
to he the first "sixteen" = 39
seed to do it...

And that's like 5 minutes of work. Haven't looked at date numerology,
time from the previous SB/season/Ravens game, from anyone's birthday,
haven't looked at the team they beat, the coach, the star... etc...

But anyway.

Cheers!

  1. You are on to something here my friend..

    SB53 is played on the 34th day of the year (2/3)
    The game is 18 days after Flaccos 34th bday

    He was born 1/16
    The 16 seed just upset the 1 seed

    Ravens last SB was also played on 2/3/13
    They played the 49ers in SB47
    Ravens just added Crabtree (#15), he was involved in the deciding play of the game
    15th prime = 47

    Crabtree will turn 31 this year, he had a 31 yard TD in SB47

    Now I'm looking into just found YUGE find!

    The 49ers finished 13-5-1 that season
    16 seeds are now 1-135 against one seeds

    From SB47 to SB53 was 313 weeks
    313 = 65th prime
    65 points scored in SB47

    Wow man great stuff, I will be looking further into this and make a post. Thank you!

    1. Ah, hey, I was thinking about Flacco and the 16th but good bit about 1/16 - a 16 over a 1... nice. Also they have the 16th draft pick... of the 1st round.

      that's something I heard today- that the 16s had been 0-135... so I immediately thought 136!!!! In the 136th game... a 16 seed finally does it...
      The 16th triangular is 136. INSANE. C'mon.

      Been thinking 49ers like I said- good 13-5-1 thing- who did they tie that year? Hmm, the Rams... Fisher?

      Ravens went into SB47 with a record of 13-6 (136)...
      33 minute blackout at halftime almost had them then fall to 13-7 (33rd prime) hmm...

      The 313 weeks- yep- "Joseph Vincent Flacco" = 313...
      Nice, 65 pts in that SB...

      Good Crabtree stuff...

      the first Sunday of the SB47 season was 9/9
      same as this year... the 99th season...

      hey thanks man look forward to ya post
      let's see if the ravens make any news on the first day of spring, the 79th day of the year "ravens" = 79

      cheers man!

    1. hey thank ya! I do/have done bball stories but haven't really done anything to then make predictions off of- just too many games!

      Not based on numbers I'm liking the Thunder this year. But they could keep this Houston/Harvey thing going I guess...

      I'll try and do a pre-playoffs decode and pick the finals. Cheers man!
