Eli Manning Jersey Retirement and Super Bowl musings...

Eli Manning ring of honor induction / jersey retirement 9/26/21

The Giants announced they will retire Eli's jersey on
9/26/21

That's 38 weeks after his birthday,
and 3 months 8 days (38) before his birthday

Double 38 and that is so significant because as we posted back when
they benched him and announced his era was over...

"Giants" = 38

"Elisha Nelson Manning" = 308

The benching came on a date with 38 numerology
when Eli was 38 years old

in his two SBs he lead the Giants to 38 total points

His final SB totaled to 38 points

In his final playoff game they lost to 38 points
(13-38... his birthday 1/3 to his age at the time of the benching 38)

his start before the benching was vs BUF
in his first start vs BUF the Giants scored 38

their next game after the benching was vs TB and he was done as starter...
in his previous and final start vs TB the Giants won w/38 points...

...his one playoff game vs TB totaled to 38

he had 380 all time TDs at the time of the benching

his final game was at home in
"MetLife" = 38

The jersey retirement will be during a a game vs Atlanta
He threw the ball 38 times in his final game against Atlanta

Thanks to StayWokeSports for the following:
Eli's 38th win was a 38 point victory

Eli's dad lost his final appearance to 38 points

And Eli was drafted 83 days after SB 38

AND NOW they are going to retire his jersey
exactly 38 weeks after his birthday!
and 3 months 8 days (38) before his birthday!

C'mon!

Also...

26

So they are retiring his jersey on the 26th...

"Eli" = 26

the benching came on a date with 26 numerology
on the 260th day of the year
...

...20 weeks and 6 days (26) after draft day/drafting Jones (his replacement)

in his final game before the benching he had 26 completions.

in the NFC Championship games for both of Eli's SBs
the games went to overtime and the total scores were
43 and 37...
or the 14th prime and the 12th prime
14+12= 26...

26th prime is 101

"Elisha Nelson Manning" = 101

AND NOW they are retiring his jersey on the 26th!

...and like we said the ceremony is during a game versus Atlanta
and his one playoff game versus Atlanta totaled to 26!

Oh and the ceremony will be 26 days before the anniversary of his
final game versus Atlanta (the third anniversary, he was born on the third)

210

So they'll retire his jersey 2 years and 10 days (210)
after they benched him and announced his era was over

He famously started 210 consecutive games, second all time to Favre.

93

The jersey retirement will be 93 weeks after his actual final game
(after they benched him he came back and played a couple games
at the end of the season)

his replacement,
"Daniel Stephen Jones" = 93

Atlanta

As we said the retirement ceremony and induction into the ring of honor
will be during a game versus Atlanta...

His final game against Atlanta totaled to 43 points
and he will be the 43rd Giant inducted into the ring of honor

Also, in his regular season career versus Atlanta he had 172 completions
"Eli Manning" = 172

Anyway, that 38 is way too wild. C'mon.

As for the Giants. For years I've thought of this...

They won their first SB in SB 21...
then 4 years later they won SB 25...

...then 10 years later they lost SB 35...

Then they won SB 42 (21 doubled)...
then 4 years later they won SB 46...

...so maybe ten years later they lose SB 56?

Also I've discovered that we're currently on a pattern of a
team that never won the SB before winning it every four years...

SB 44 the saints won for the first time

SB 48 the seahawks won for the first time

SB 52 the eagles won for the first time

SB 56 ...

And I've looked at the entire SB era and a pattern like that is rare.

So the teams that have yet to win a SB are:

Buffalo, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Houston, Jacksonville, Tennessee,
Chargers, Minnesota, Detroit, Atlanta, Carolina, and Arizona

Of the AFC teams I'd say Buffalo, Cleveland, and Tennessee seem
ready, especially Buffalo and Cleveland.

And if it ain't the Giants then maybe Minnesota or Arizona.

But anyway I'd say Buffalo or Cleveland beat the Giants in SB 56.

Cheers!

  1. Hey man!! Not gonna lie I could remember what your blog was called. But I found it and I wish Stay Woke would have kept his blog going. I know he had things come up but it seems like he’s still at it. I’d like to collaborate with you and him this coming season. I am not set on anything yet but I’m looking at a 49ers vs Browns matchup or Buccaneers vs Raiders rematch. The Niners have been all over sports news with deaths, shaming rituals, killing sprees/suicide, and the huge curve ball trade with Miami. The one connection that’s very interesting is the 49ers 75 year anniversary patch. It’s identical to the NFL’s 75 year patch in 1994 and the Niners won the SB vs Chargers who is hosting SB56. To top it off, they are coming back with their 1994 home uniforms like they did in 2019 with the 1994 away uniforms. I also compared the 2013-2015 seasons to 2019-2021
13: Russell Wilson beats the Broncos
    14: Brady beats Wilson
    15: Broncos won SB

    19: Mahomes beats the Niners
    20: Brady beats Mahomes
    21: Niners win SB?

    2015 Cam Newton = 2021 Baker Mayfield?

I’ll also throw in the Niners defeating the Rams last season at SoFi giving them their first home loss and the Niners improving to 5-6
It’s a reach but why not lol Shanahan in his 5th year wins the Niners 6th.

    1. Hey man, good to hear from you- thanks for the comments! I would love to collaborate. You find some awesome stuff.

I love the Niners stuff- and apparently they are a top team again? I haven't followed the off season but see people ranking them pretty high now. I haven't been thinking of them but I love the 13-15 and 19-21 idea and all of this.

I wasn't checking my comments for a while so sorry for the delay but I will try and check back and post more frequently now.

      Cheers!

  2. Now for my Buccaneers vs Raiders matchup
There’s bad blood dating back to 2001. The New England screw job “tuck rule”. Brady’s firs career playoff game. Chucky doesn’t forget or forgive haha. So check this out. The SB will be on NBC. Al Michaels is the legendary announcer. He turns 77yo this year, Brady was born in 19(77). Brady is 44yo, Al Michaels was born in 19(44), the SB is on the 44th day of the year. SB56 will be Al’s 11th as the lead announcer and Brady can reach his 11th SB.
Tampa Bay turned 47yo this year, they were established in 19(74). Brady could go 7-4 in SB’s
Raiders last SB win was in 1983, 38 years ago. Brady’s Bday is 8/3. SB37 was hosted by Chargers.

    1. Pretty awesome that you are also thinking Raiders potential- I've been thinking the same. And the pirate rematch could make some sense. I was actually thinking that too, and the tuck rule, and the SB being in Brady's home state, and how they, like pirates do, stole the election and are stealing the normal way of life and freedom etc... so maybe a pirate bowl- and a rematch of 37 for the 21 season- and the SB is on a date with 37 etc.

      Very nice 83/38. "Raiders" = 38.

      also "Raiders" = 47, 74 and 52 (52nd SB of modern era)

      and interesting about Al Michaels

Maybe Brady's done or it's his final SB
      Brady, #12 starts dynasty in 2001 (21)
      and ends in '21

      Cheers man!
